How to Play Simple Frisbee Games

How to Play Simple Frisbee Games

Frisbee throwing is not just for a sunny day at the beach. Grab a disc and hit the park with your friends or your kids and enjoy some simple variations that all ages can enjoy. Here are some fun ways to play.

Instructions

    1

Bocce Frisbee: The object is to get the Frisbee as close to a designated object as possible without touching it. Make it more difficult by increasing the throwing distance.

    2

Golf Frisbee: Make your own course around the backyard using buckets, nets or empty plant pots.

    3

Statue Frisbee: Pair up in teams of two. See how many times you can consecutively catch the Frisbee without moving your feet. Advanced rules: Set a time clock and vie for points. Each valid catch equals one point. Catches under a leg or on the tip of a finger earn two points. When the buzzer rings, the team with the most points wins.

    4

Pool Frisbee: Stand on the diving board and give the signal to your buddy on the pool deck. He throws the Frisbee and you jump or dive and try to catch it in the air. Extra points for style.

    5

Tag Frisbee: Divide up your group so that one-third to one-half of the players are "it." The Frisbee is thrown from player to player with the goal of keeping it away from the It players. If the Frisbee is intercepted, the It and Non-It players switch roles. Like traditional tag games, there is no clear ending unless you set a timer or everyone gets antsy and moves on.
