Ah Ha! The Ab Lounge, almost everyone has heard of or has seen the Ab Lounge. Whether it be the commercials, or the hype about the exercise product, you must have heard it's suppose to give you amazing abs in just 10 minutes a day. Right? Well, it is true to a certain extent. The Ab Lounge is effective, if and only if, it is used correctly. I, myself, own an Ab Lounge and have seen much improvement in my abdominal area over the time I've used it. There is a certain catch, and that is that you only buy the product itself and the twenty minute workout dvd (which can be used in ten minutes of the full twenty). This article explains how the Ab Lounge is designed to work and how to get maximum results with the product.

    Understand the product. This is the first step to get maximum results. The Ab Lounge is designed as a method to strengthen and tone their upper and lower abdominal muscles. It is made up sort of like a hammock in a certain way. There are bars you must assemble and then there is the actual mat that is held up by bungee cords attached to the bars. The idea is that you get full maximum coverage of rotation while you perform ab exercises. I can truly say this product is GREAT for people who have back problems because it also has a handle that you grab unto to pull yourself up, which doesn't strain your lower back as much as sit-ups and traditional ab exercises. It uses a jackknife motion to tone and strengthen adnominal muscles.

    Follow the DVD. The DVD is designed for beginners and advanced users, you can choose at which pace you perform your exercises. When you are using the ab lounge, it's important to remember that you breathe and move accordingly to the dvd. Take your time. Quality over Quantity. The more concentrated the exercise, the better results you will have. Try to remember two very important things when using the product. First, be sure you breathing is even and that you exhale when you pull and exhale when you push back down. Just as you should with traditional sit-ups. The second rule of thumb, keep your abdominals tight and pulled in at all times. Focus very hard on tightening your abs throughout the whole DVD.

    Stick to a healthy diet. You can't expect that the Ab Lounge is suddenly going to make you lose weight overnight without much else than the ab exercises, right? Of course not! You must follow a healthy diet plan such as lean chicken and fish, low carbs, and low fat just like any other healthy diet. Cut out soda, sugars, carbs and other unhealthy foods to help aid you in your weight loss.

    Find a cardio plan right for you. Yes, you can do all the ab exercises you want -- but if you don't burn the fat laying over your ab muscles, you will never be able to see the progress in which your ab's have undergone. You may feel it, but you won't be able to actually see results until you start a cardio program that helps melt the fat cover the abdominal muscles. Walking, jogging, or running three times a week is a great way to help boost your transformation. You can also do aeborics which will work the same as walking or running to help burn the fat laying over your belly.

    Give yourself time and patience to see actual results with the Ab Lounge. You should be doing the exercises at least 3-5 times a week along with regular cardio. However, it might take more than a week to see results. Trust me, you will see results in your weight loss and fitness level - just give it time.
